The NSBPIA is a 501(c)(6) that advocates for responsible growth in New Smyrna Beach, balancing development with environmental protection. We support thoughtful zoning, efficient ordinances, and streamlined processes to attract investment. Current challenges include outdated regulations, restrictive zoning, and parking requirements that hinder economic development and burden property owners. These factors limit city budget opportunities for infrastructure and services. We aim to revise land development regulations, promote efficient processes, diversify the tax base, and support responsible development, especially in key areas like the beachside. NSBPIA invites property owners, businesses, and citizens to join us in advocating for updated regulations, responsible development, and a business-friendly environment. We encourage public engagement in local government processes. NSBPIA is independent, not affiliated with city government or political parties, serving as a voice for responsible growth and community improvement.
